Jeannette Garcia
I am Jeannette Garcia, a nurse practitioner and licensed massage therapist.
I have been a licensed massage therapist for 12 years. I have extensive experience in providing relaxing and therapeutic massages that help my guests obtain relief from headaches, migraines, low back pain, and other ailments. I also have experience working with athletes: such as mountain bikers, marathon runners, triathletes, body builders, and many more. I assist athletes in speeding up their recovery and improving their mobility.
I specialize in deep tissue, trigger point, myofascial release, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, active release technique, prenatal. I am trained in Graston technique and oncology massage. I am also certified in manual lymphatic drainage (Vodder technique).
My massage style usually incorporates a fusion of some or all of these techniques based on what you prefer and adapting to what your muscles need and how your muscles respond.
I have worked in a variety of settings, from home massages (at my home or that of my clients), to medical facilities such as chiropractic offices, to luxurious settings such as the spa at MGM National Harbor and even on the casino floor of the MGM National Harbor.
In addition to my massage experience, I have been a registered nurse for 5 years, where I compassionately cared for oncology patients in inpatient and outpatient settings. In addition to my oncology experience, I am also experienced in providing safe and efficacious medical and aesthetic dermatology treatments.
No matter the setting I work in, I always prioritize the safety, comfort, and experience of my guests.
When I am not here, you can find me working at Capitol Vein & Laser Center in Frederick, MD a few days per week.
In my free time, I love to spend time with my husband of 11 years, our children who are 8 & 10, and our 2 Vizslas. I enjoy running, volleyball, dancing, singing, and reading.
