Service Description
This 60-minute therapeutic massage is specifically designed for individuals undergoing cancer treatment or living with cancer. It focuses on offering comfort, relaxation, and relief from the physical and emotional challenges associated with cancer and its treatments. Cancer can often make you feel like you have little control over your life, as your days become dominated by endless appointments and treatments. During this massage, YOU regain control. You have the power to adjust the temperature of the massage table, choose the volume and type of music, set the lighting, determine the pressure of the massage, and decide on the level of conversation. With the use of bolstering and pillows to maximize comfort, every aspect of the session is tailored to your preferences. What better than a practitioner with experience as an oncology nurse, trained in oncology massage and manual lymphatic drainage, to provide you with the expertise and compassionate care needed to perform this specialized massage safely and effectively? The goal is to improve circulation, reduce stress, alleviate pain, manage edema and lymphedema, and promote an overall sense of well-being. Each session is customized to meet your unique needs, ensuring both safety and comfort throughout. For your safety, a HEPA filter is continuously running in the treatment room, and high-touch surfaces are regularly wiped down. If you would prefer me to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), such as a mask and/or gloves, please feel free to mention it in the comment box when booking your appointment. Initial visits are scheduled for 90-minute blocks to allow for a thorough consultation, 60 minutes of hands-on treatment, and additional time for undressing and dressing. All follow-up visits thereafter are scheduled as 60-minute sessions for hands-on time. *Sliding Scale Pricing* Initial Visit: $120-$160 Follow-Up Visit: $80-$120
Cancellation Policy
Appointment Cancellation If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide me with at least a 24-hour notice or before the end of the business day prior to your service appointment. This allows me to adjust my schedule and accommodate other clients who may be on the waitlist. How to Cancel or Reschedule To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact me by email at info@skinfinitesolutionsws.com. Please provide your name, appointment date and time, and when you want to reschedule service for. Rescheduling I understand that circumstances can change. If you need to reschedule your appointment, I will do my best to accommodate your request. However, please be mindful of repeated rescheduling, as it may affect my ability to schedule appointments in a timely manner. Late Cancellations & No Shows Cancellations made after business hours the day prior to your appointment will be considered late cancellations. If you fail to show up for your appointment without prior notice, it will be considered a no-show. I understand that emergencies can happen, and will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in a charge to the card on file of 100% of the price of the session plus a 4% transaction fee. Since prices are on a sliding scale, the price charged will be approximately in the middle of that range.
